Access personal voicemail from the web portal

You can access your voicemail from any web browser that as access to the internet. From the portal you can do the following.

  1. You see all your messages.
  2. You can enable or disable your voicemail.
  3. You can set where the call would be transfer if the user press 0.
  4. You can send a copy of the voicemail to another extension.
  5. You can record a message greeting.
  6. Select what greeting you have active.
    1. if you have more than one example out office vs in office.
  7. You can also record your name.

To get access to the web portal you need to go to the following URL: https://portal.tayotelecom.com/

  1. Now you will be ask for your log in information.

  2. Login name will be your business email address.

    1. If you don’t have an company email address it should be extension number@company.com Like this for example: 155@tayotelecom.com.

    2. You can also look at the welcome email that was sent to you, you will find your username in the email.

      1. If you have forgotten your password or login Name you can used the forgot login name or forgot password links under the log in button or send an email to support@tayotelecom.com make sure you include the following information.

        1. Your name.

        2. Your company.

        3. Phone number where we can reach you.

        4. Your phone extension.

  3. Once you are connected you will see at the top icons for different function to get to voicemail select the envelope (messages).



  4. Now in this window you will see all your messages and you can listen, delete, or save them.

  5. If you want to go change some settings in the top left corner, you will settings.

    1. You can enable or disable your voicemail. Don't disable the voicemail unless you know what you are doing.

    2. You can sort the way your voicemail are presented to you, if you want to have the time and the caller id as well.

    3. You can select where to send a user that would press 0 during your voicemail. Normally this is use to send them back to the reception.

    4. You can have a copy of your voicemail send to another extension as well as yours.

    5. This give you access to the greeting menu.

      1. You can make your voicemail greeting using Text to Speech.

      2. You can upload a sound file (mp3 or wave)

      3. You can also record your voicemail greeting. Once you select record you will see a new section name Call me at. In this section you will enter the device (phone) you want the system to call you so you can record your voicemail.

        1. if you want your physical phone type: 104

        2. If you want your mobile application or desktop application type: 104m

        3. If you want your Microsoft Team type: 104t

      4. If you have multiple voicemail greeting you can change witch one is active (you could have one for when you are in the office and one when you are out of the office).

    6. You can record your name.

    7. Make sure you press save when you are done selecting/changing options in your voicemail settings.
