How to configure your voicemail in Microsoft Teams

In this guide we will go thru setting your voicemail in Microsoft Team.


  1. Open Microsoft Teams and in the upper right corner by your profile picture select the 3 …

  2. Now select Settings.
  3. Go to the calls section on the left side.

    1. The option 1 let you decide what to do when you did not answer the call.
      1. We suggest sending it to your voicemail. 
      2. You should also do a test to see if the 20 sec is to much for your liking. You can set it all the way down to 10 seconds.
    2. The option 2 will bring you to the voicemail menu.
    3. If you press record a greeting, your Teams extension will ring and you will be able to record a greeting.
      1. If you prefer to use Text to Speech, you can do so by typing the text in the Your custom greeting:
